FROM RECORDING TO EDITABLE TEXT
Keep the timestamps. Lose the manual typing.

Long audio continues processing while you are away.
Return to searchable text with timestamps and exports.
Export the audio first
Use your phone's WhatsApp share/save options, where available. Those options vary with the app and operating system. LongScribe does not sign into your WhatsApp account.
Why OGG and Opus matter
WhatsApp voice notes commonly use the Opus codec in an OGG container. The real saved format matters: simply renaming an unsupported file does not convert its audio codec.
A voice note is not a whole chat export
A recording contains speech, not reliable WhatsApp sender names, message timestamps or the rest of your conversation.
Privacy and accuracy
Only upload recordings you may lawfully process, with consent where required. Recheck names, amounts and dates before sharing.

This is audio transcription, not WhatsApp chat history import.
Frequently asked questions
Does LongScribe connect to my WhatsApp account?
No. You must separately save and submit the voice-note audio.
Are OGG or Opus recordings accepted?
They can be, subject to a supported codec and decodable spoken audio.
Will the transcript include sender names?
No. A voice-note file does not include reliable chat identity metadata.
Can I export a Word document?
Yes, once an eligible job completes under a signed-in account.
