THE FINISHED RESULT
Search the text, jump back to the exact moment in the video, fix a name, then export the format your workflow needs.
Long recordings keep processing in the background.
Search the finished transcript using clickable timestamps.
Export the result as text, subtitles, Word or JSON.
Paste a direct public Spotify podcast episode URL, not a music playlist. LongScribe looks for legitimately accessible episode audio or matching public RSS. Review and export the transcript if audio is available; exclusive episodes may fail.

Paste the episode URL in the form above. LongScribe checks for accessible episode audio, or a high-confidence podcast RSS match. A similarly named podcast is never substituted without corroboration.
Open Sources to resolve a show's public feed; choose episodes and follow them when eligible. Following a source creates normal recording jobs, not unlimited free transcriptions.
If the episode is protected, unavailable or cannot be matched to its publisher's public feed, the importer may fail. Use an authorized file or the canonical RSS link instead. Spotify music, audiobooks and private playback are not supported. Free: 20 recordings and 60 monthly minutes when a recording is eligible.
Official provider sources for verification. See the dated comparisons below; prices and limits can change.
LongScribe tells you plainly that it could not find a public source for that episode, instead of silently failing or guessing. Try the publisher's own podcast RSS link, or upload the audio file.
Two podcasts can have similar names, and some Spotify content does not expose a matching public feed. LongScribe deliberately requires an exact normalized show-name match, and for episodes a title match plus a corroborating duration or date match, before using a directory result. If that check fails, the product asks for a canonical RSS or Apple Podcasts link rather than risk transcribing the wrong episode.
Once a Spotify show is resolved to a public RSS feed under Sources, the saved source behaves like any other podcast source: new feed items can be detected, deduplicated and transcribed according to your source automation settings.
This workflow is for podcast episodes that expose public audio or can be matched to the publisher's public RSS feed. LongScribe does not import music, audiobooks, private episodes and protected playback through the Spotify podcast path.
Following a resolved Spotify show under Sources still creates normal transcription jobs. Premium at $4.99/month is the recurring workflow tier; source follow does not create unlimited transcription or bypass account limits.
Review speaker names, guest names, sponsors, ads, technical terms and overlapping speakers before you quote, publish or share the transcript. Treat the result as a strong draft when accuracy matters.
Ask Library can answer prompts such as: Which episodes discussed a product launch? What did guests say about AI regulation this quarter? Show the supporting episode titles and transcript excerpts.
For one public Spotify podcast episode, paste its episode URL into the LongScribe URL transcription form. The resolver may use public episode audio or an exact publisher RSS match corroborated against episode details. If neither is accessible, it fails closed: supply an authorized recording or the publisher's RSS feed instead. A Spotify show URL belongs in Sources for episode selection and optional eligible paid follow; it is not a single audio job. Protected audio, music, private episodes and DRM cannot be bypassed. Review the transcript and export TXT, DOCX, SRT or JSON.
If you already know the podcast RSS URL, add it directly in Sources. It avoids directory matching entirely.
Publicly accessible media only; source restrictions apply.
LongScribe only ever uses audio Spotify itself has already made public for that episode, or the same episode's audio from the show's separately public podcast feed. It never decrypts or bypasses Spotify's protected playback.
Yes. Paste the episode URL directly into the normal transcription box; that does not add or follow the show.
It prevents a similarly named episode, or a different episode from the same show, from being transcribed by mistake. LongScribe requires a title match plus a duration or publish-date match, and fails closed instead of selecting a fuzzy result.
Yes, when a public RSS feed has been resolved for the show under Sources and Follow is enabled on a paid account.
Use the publisher's RSS feed or the Apple Podcasts show URL for the same podcast, or upload the audio file directly.

Not by circumventing Spotify playback protection. Try an authorized saved recording or the publisher's publicly enabled RSS feed. Spotify for Creators lets publishers manage whether an RSS feed is available for distribution; availability varies by show.
