An anyone-with-the-link file must expose retrievable media. A restricted file cannot be opened by the public URL importer. Private folder watching requires a configured, approved OAuth integration and an authorized account connection.
Check General access in Drive. Anyone with the link is different from Restricted; view permission alone does not guarantee downloadable media.
If Connected Sources enables Google Drive for your account, authorize it and choose the folder, history policy, subfolders and import cap.
Do not make sensitive private recordings public to fix an importer failure. Obtain an authorized local media file and upload it instead.

For one file, check that its audio or video is publicly retrievable, not merely visible to you while signed into Google. Organizational sharing or download restrictions can still prevent access.
When enabled, Connected Sources retrieves authorized new media files privately, with configured limits and deduplication. It is not a live meeting recorder and does not publish private Drive files.
Whole-folder access requires Google's Drive read scope, OAuth app configuration and possible restricted-scope verification. A marketing page does not prove the connector is available on your account.
Compare spoken names, audio duration and the beginning and ending against the recording. Eligible signed-in completed jobs offer TXT, DOCX, SRT and JSON; a no-account demo may only give a preview.
Open Connected Sources to see whether Google Drive is enabled for your account.
Connect Google Drive once, choose a folder and let LongScribe import new supported recordings without a manual download-upload cycle.
