You need the saved recording and permission to process it. LongScribe will not join a live call.
For Zoom/Teams/Meet/Webex use the recording file or its authorized integration.
LongScribe signed-in Free: 60 minutes across 20 recordings per month. Premium: $4.99/month / 5,000 minutes, Premium Pro: $14.99/month / 20,000 minutes. Per-job duration, file size and account restrictions still apply. The anonymous demo is a separate limited preview.
Automated transcripts need review against the source. No comparative accuracy advantage is claimed.
LongScribe does not join or capture an active meeting. Download your authorized saved meeting audio/video and upload it, or use an enabled connected cloud or recording integration.
Zoom cloud recordings have a dedicated workflow. Microsoft Teams recordings are commonly stored in OneDrive or SharePoint; Google Meet recordings can be stored in Google Drive. Webex recordings may be submitted through supported paths. Access permissions are required.
A timestamped transcript makes it easier to locate quotes and search for a decision. AI summaries, chapters and speaker labels depend on job features and plan settings; verify action items against the actual recording before sharing them.
Upload a file using the dedicated audio/file tool or access the connected source. Eligible completed jobs support TXT, DOCX, SRT and JSON; larger files require the eligible paid upload path.
For recordings you already have, prioritize actual file/cloud compatibility, timestamps, reviewability and exports. Choose a live meeting assistant instead if you need real-time capture or automatic participation during the call.
Direct uploads are capped at 90 MB on the Free plan; uploads can be up to 1 GB on Premium (including Premium Pro) via chunked upload. Supported public URLs are fetched server-side and do not use the browser direct-upload limit.
LongScribe starts once you already have a saved recording — it doesn't join calls live. If you need something to actually sit in on the meeting and record it, ScreenApp is a solid option; drop the file it saves into LongScribe afterward for a searchable, timestamped transcript.
Pick the provider that already stores the saved recording, or upload a saved meeting file directly.
