WEBINAR TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE · AFTER THE EVENT

Recorded webinar transcription, not live captions

A saved webinar, two practical outputs:

Text for the follow-up

Find a question or panelist remark in the timed transcript, confirm names and quotations, then export reviewed TXT/DOCX for a recap.

Captions for the replay

Export a separate timed SRT/VTT track for your editor or replay player. LongScribe does not burn captions into an MP4.

This is self-service recorded transcription, not live webinar captions or outsourced human work. Free: 20 eligible files / 60 minutes monthly. This quick form accepts up to 90 MB. Premium's main uploader supports eligible files up to 1 GB with other job limits.

A private webinar replay link does not bypass sign-in or recording-owner access restrictions. Use only recordings you have permission to transcribe.

Webinar transcription quick answer

LongScribe is a self-service transcription tool for saved webinars, not an outsourced human transcription service or a live-caption provider. Upload an authorized audio recording here; use the full app for MP4 replays or reachable supported public links. Verify speaker names, questions and timestamps before publishing a recap or a separate SRT/VTT caption track.

Audio form on this page, MP4 or URL in the app

The embedded form takes saved audio recordings. For video replays, use the app's MP4 file upload or supported public URL import. A private Zoom recording requires an authorized downloaded file or an eligible connected-source flow, not a pasted login-only URL.

Webinar recap, speaker names and Q&A verification

Find questions in the timestamped transcript and confirm the answers and panelist names against the recording. Create a recap from reviewed material; do not claim automated speech text was checked by the event organizer.

Webinar Free allowance and long recordings

A signed-in Free account normally allows 20 recorded jobs and 60 monthly minutes. Free direct uploads are capped at 90 MB, while Premium supports up to 1 GB on the supported upload flow. A file must also pass individual-job checks, and anonymous long-video preview is separate from Free limits.

What is the best transcription software for webinars?

For recorded webinars, choose a tool that can handle long sessions in the background, preserve timestamps and export both readable text and captions. LongScribe fits recap, Q&A, archive and SRT workflows; High Accuracy is the LongScribe option when panel audio, room noise or multiple speakers make recognition harder. If your main job is live event capture rather than post-event transcription, use a live meeting or webinar platform instead.

Frequently asked questions

Does a long recording transcribe in full without an account?

An eligible anonymous recording up to 180 minutes may be processed in full. A longer recording may receive only a 15-minute preview. Sign in for eligible full recordings within the separate Free plan's monthly job/minute budget; source access and individual-job rules still apply.

Can I transcribe a webinar MP4 on this page?

The direct form here is for saved audio; open the full app to upload a supported MP4 file you have permission to process.

Can I transcribe a live webinar or join a Zoom event?

No. LongScribe processes authorized recordings after the event; it does not join a live meeting or deliver real-time captions.

Can I transcribe a private Zoom webinar link?

Not by pasting a private or login-gated recording URL into a public-link importer. Use an authorized saved file or supported connected recording source.

Does webinar transcription automatically create verified notes?

No. It creates an editable speech transcript. Review speaker labels, numbers and Q&A before using quotations or publishing a recap.

Can I export SRT captions for a webinar replay?

Yes after an eligible completed job. SRT/VTT are separate timed subtitle files, not captions burned into the webinar recording.

Can I transcribe a recorded webinar for free?

Yes, when the authorized recording fits the normal Free plan's 20 monthly jobs, 60 transcription minutes, and the supported file-size or public-link rules.

Can I transcribe a Zoom webinar after it ends?

Yes. Export the saved Zoom webinar recording and upload its supported audio or video file, or use a reachable supported public replay link.

Can I generate a searchable webinar transcript?

Yes. Review the time-linked text after transcription and export TXT, DOCX or JSON; important names, decisions and quotations should be checked against the recording.

What if my webinar recording is private or too large?

Use a file upload you are authorized to make instead of expecting a private URL to work. The Free direct-upload limit is 90 MB, while Premium supports up to 1 GB via the supported upload flow. Monthly minute limits apply separately.
