Preview before following a show

Sign in and add a public feed to Sources. Check the supported episode listing and import options. Private or protected podcasts cannot be retrieved by this workflow.

Auto-follow is a Premium feature

Automatic follow of new episodes requires an active paid plan. A signed-in Free account can explore supported source previews and eligible manual imports within its limits, but cannot activate automatic follow.

Decide what happens after transcription

Supported Sources can use import policies and optional summary, chapters or email notification preferences. AI drafts still require review.

Your automation has limits

New items are checked periodically, not instantaneously. Episode availability, monthly minutes, recording counts and source/import limits all apply.

Set up a recurring podcast Source

  1. Open Sources and sign in to select a supported public RSS feed or show.
  2. Preview available episodes. Choose a manual import policy.
  3. With Premium, enable Follow for eligible future episodes.
  4. Review each finished recording and optional AI chapter/summary drafts.

Compare plans before enabling paid auto-follow. Recurring imports are subject to account limits.

Frequently asked questions

Can LongScribe automatically follow a podcast RSS feed?

Yes, for supported public Sources on an active paid account.

Can a Free account follow episodes automatically?

No. Auto-follow requires a paid plan; eligible manual imports and previews are a separate workflow.

Does enabling Follow import every historical episode?

No. Import policies, media availability, source checks and plan limits restrict what is processed.

Can followed episodes produce summaries?

Supported Sources offer optional AI summary and chapter preferences. Review drafts against the original recording.
