Use soundcloud.com/artist/sets/name without a secret token. Only public sets and tracks are eligible.
Sign in to preview the set
Browse listed tracks and their durations before any transcription starts.
Select spoken-word tracks
Choose available interviews or podcast episodes within the displayed batch limit. Instrumental tracks do not produce meaningful speech transcripts.

A SoundCloud set is a playlist of tracks. LongScribe lets a signed-in user preview the set, select spoken-word tracks and queue each track as a separate Premium transcription job.
Premium batch with a safe preview
A playlist preview is available after sign-in. It never creates jobs by itself. Importing selected tracks is a paid Premium feature subject to job, batch-size and minute limits.
Made for conversations and podcasts, not instrumentals
Interviews, talks, spoken-word podcasts and voice recordings can produce searchable transcripts. Music-only or purely instrumental tracks have no speech to transcribe.
Only public SoundCloud sets
Private or unlisted sets using secret tokens, restricted tracks, deleted pages and unavailable media are not supported. LongScribe does not try to bypass private access.
Review quotes and export your work
Each processed recording can be reviewed with timestamps and exported as TXT, SRT, DOCX or JSON. A playlist is not turned into one merged document.
Frequently asked questions
Can I transcribe a full SoundCloud playlist?
With Premium, you can browse a public set and import chosen public tracks within the current batch cap. Each track becomes an individual transcription job, not a combined file.
Is SoundCloud playlist transcription free?
Previewing a public set requires a signed-in account. Importing multiple tracks as a batch is a Premium feature, not a free playlist import. Individual public tracks may use the normal Free transcription allowance.
What SoundCloud playlist URLs work?
Use public soundcloud.com/artist/sets/name links. Unlisted or private sets with secret tokens and restricted tracks are not supported.
Can a purely instrumental SoundCloud set be transcribed?
No useful transcript is produced without audible speech. Choose interviews, podcasts and other spoken-word recordings; purely instrumental tracks are not suitable.
Does previewing use my transcription minutes?
No. Preview shows titles and available tracks for selection. Transcription starts only after you confirm a Premium batch import; plan limits still apply.
