Extract useful quotes from a completed interview transcript
Extract interview quotes →Start from the actual recording
Upload an interview audio file or use a supported public recording link to obtain a transcript. LongScribe does not join live interviews or extract text from an inaccessible private call.
Use the existing Best quotes action
Sign in, open Ask Library, select your completed recording under Create from transcript, then choose Best quotes. The AI creates an editable draft from transcript content; the marketing page does not generate quotes on its own.
Do not mistake AI suggestions for verified quotations
Automated text can contain speech-recognition mistakes or imperfect timestamps. Listen to the exact passage, check who said it, and only publish a quote you verified. This is not a certified verbatim legal transcript.
AI limits and long interviews
The interactive Best quotes feature requires AI generation to be available for your account and uses bounded transcript context. A long interview may not be exhaustively covered by one generation. Search the complete transcript to find overlooked passages before publication.
Keep private interviews private
The output belongs to the signed-in account and is not published as a public story by this tool. Check interviewee consent and confidentiality before making quotations public.

Illustrative result only: “We agreed to revisit the proposal next week.” (example, not a real client quote or accuracy benchmark).
Frequently asked questions
Can AI extract verbatim quotes from a recorded interview?
LongScribe can draft candidate quotes from a completed transcript, but the wording and speaker attribution must be checked against the original recording.
Does it work from an MP3 interview?
Yes, when the supported MP3 contains accessible, understandable speech and its transcription completes.
Does it scan every hour of a long interview at once?
Not necessarily. Quote generation uses bounded AI context; review the full transcript for other passages.
Does it provide accurate speaker names automatically?
Not reliably in all situations. Verify the speaker yourself before quoting or attributing sensitive statements.
Can I do this without signing in?
No. The Create from transcript workflow requires a saved completed transcription that belongs to your account.
