Vizard alternative when the transcript is the deliverable
Transcribe a recording to text →Which workflow fits your recording?
Choose LongScribe: You want a complete, editable transcript or document with optional separate timed subtitles and no clip-production step.
Choose the other tool: You want AI-selected highlights, social shorts, video reframing, captions styled on clips or publishing workflows. Vizard can also download transcripts, so output format matters.
Try your own authorized recording: upload a saved file or paste a supported public URL. Source access and plan limits still apply.

Vizard does offer full transcription
Vizard's product pages advertise video-to-text and transcript downloads, not just highlight detection. A fair comparison is about exports, the production workflow and plan limits rather than whether Vizard can produce text at all.
Credits versus a monthly transcription allowance
Vizard's current pricing lists 60 free credits each month, with one processed video minute normally costing one credit. LongScribe Free includes 60 min/month across 20 recordings. These are not feature-equivalent allowances: clipping, upload limits and video exports are separate considerations.
Full text before clip-making
If you need every passage of an interview for an article, research file or meeting notes, a searchable transcript with timestamps is the deliverable. When your objective is to publish highlights as short video clips, Vizard has production tools that LongScribe does not.
The export difference is specific
Vizard lists TXT transcript download on Free and TXT/SRT on paid plans. LongScribe supplies TXT, SRT, DOCX and JSON for finished permitted recordings. SRT is a subtitle file and does not render a finished video.
How to use a long recording
Upload a file you can process or paste a supported public media link, confirm that the job fits its allowance and source limits, then review the transcript and export the document or SRT. Longer source length alone is not proof that the job qualifies for a free full transcription.
