White House video, Official White House video source container00:00The Press: Mr. President, you have a great relationship with Poland, what about the base in Poland? The President: Well, we're looking at that and we have great respect for the president of Poland. So we're looking at that and it could happen.
White House video, Official White House video source container00:11(talking simultaneously) The Press: -- Iran, you mentioned that they cannot have nuclear weapons. What about Hezbollah in Lebanon, that is still rebuilding his arm based on some intelligence? The President: They cannot have nuclear weapons and they won't have, and they're agreeing not to have.
White House video, Official White House video source container00:33The Press: On the Fed? On the Fed? On Warsh, can you talk about Kevin Warsh? You said to Time Magazine that he should have voted against the board. Have you talked to him since that vote, about that?
White House video, Official White House video source container00:44The President: No. I want him to vote the way he wants. I personally would have voted against the race because we've got inflation totally under control. Inflation was caused by Biden. The worst inflation in history, I inherited.
White House video, Official White House video source container00:56We have that under control. And the problem is interest rates will hurt our growth because we're growing and very fast and interest rates can slow down growth. We want growth, and growth does not cause inflation.
White House video, Official White House video source container01:09(talking simultaneously) The Press: What about the support for Ukraine? The President: I think it's going to get solved. The Press: Mr. President, are you going to be building a base in Venezuela or South America?
White House video, Official White House video source container01:22The President: We're looking at doing a lot of things. We're getting along very well, as you know. And Venezuela, it's been a great situation. The people are happy, and I'm very happy, and we're taking a lot of oil and we have a great relationship.
White House video, Official White House video source container01:35If Venezuela is making a lot of money and so are we, we're going to start filling up our national strategic reserves with the Venezuelan oil for very little money, and it's going to be great.
White House video, Official White House video source container01:45The Press: President Trump, please, how close are you following the elections in Brazil? Please. The Press: Pardon me. (Inaudible) said today that the Iran war may threaten the midterms for you. You said that last night -- The President: Well, it's possible.
White House video, Official White House video source container01:59I don't -- it should help because Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. So when you say, is it OK for Iran to have a nuclear weapon, I would say 100 percent of the people say no, including worldwide.
White House video, Official White House video source container02:13So when you say it that way, it would help. If you don't say that, it could hurt, yeah. (talking simultaneously) The Press: Who's the Republican nominee in 2028. Are you going to endorse someone in 2028?
White House video, Official White House video source container02:22The President: I might. I mean, we have a great bench of people. We have tremendous people. We really -- the Democrats don't have a bench at all. We have a great bench. The Press: Do you know why the prisoners in the UK were released?
White House video, Official White House video source container02:34Do you know why the UK prisoners were released? The President: No. I was surprised at that. We are going to speak. I was surprised. They were released on bail. I have a lot of respect, however, for Scotland Yard.
White House video, Official White House video source container02:46I think they know what they're doing, but I was a little bit surprised. I was surprised. The Press: The U.S. special envoy to Iraq said leaving Iraq does not mean abandoning their allies. Do you think they will be successful?
White House video, Official White House video source container03:04The President: I will never abandon our allies. The Press: Mr. President, please, how closely are you following the elections in Brazil? It's -- The President: Very closely. The Press: Very closely? How important that country is from your perception from that region in South America?
White House video, Official White House video source container03:17The President: Brazil is a very important country. It's a very great country. The people of Brazil are fantastic people, very important election. Note The Press: (talking simultaneously) The Press: Mr. President, are you planning to pardon your (Inaudible) before you leave office?
White House video, Official White House video source container03:32The President: Well, it's a -- it's a long time from now, and they've been very honorable. We've done a great job. We're the hottest country anywhere in the world. I'm going to cut, as an example, a ribbon in Texas for Peterbilt.
White House video, Official White House video source container03:45They're building a massive truck factory. They're moving from outside of the United States to inside. So it's not something I'm thinking about now, but based on Biden, I can do whatever I want, because he certainly pardoned a lot of people.
White House video, Official White House video source container03:59He pardoned everybody of note. Yeah. The Press: You're going to Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Alabama and Nebraska. The President: Right. The Press: Why such Republican states if you're so confident your party's going to do all right?
White House video, Official White House video source container04:15The President: Well, I won all of them by a lot. I'm going there just to make sure. But in the case of Oklahoma, we pretty much, I hope, won that race because that was a race in the Republican Party for governor.
White House video, Official White House video source container04:27And the person that I endorsed, who was not at all leading when I endorsed him, he was down by 22 points, and he ended up winning. And I'm really going to Oklahoma to thank him, because for three terms, I -- think of it, three elections, I've won 87 out of 87 counties, and I'm going to thank Oklahoma.
White House video, Official White House video source container04:49They've been just an unbelievable state. You know, you have to give back too. You can't like win a state every -- I was number one. You know who number two was? I think it was Ronald Reagan in 56.
White House video, Official White House video source container05:01So I had 77 out of 77 counties. Every county voted for Trump three times. Second was Ronald Reagan, 56 out of 77. And I'm sort of going there to thank them. But they also have a very important governor's race, but I think he's in good shape because he won, with my endorsement, he won the primary.
White House video, Official White House video source container05:23The Press: Yesterday, you expressed some frustration about the sales job that your party is doing. The President: Yeah. The Press: Do you think everyone else in the Republican Party is doing enough? The President: Well, I think the press isn't covering U.S. fairly.
White House video, Official White House video source container05:35It was just announced we have the best economic numbers of any president in the history of our country, and yet people don't know about it because the press won't talk about it. You talk about it on occasion.
05:45But we have -- as an example, we have the best poverty numbers ever for individual. We have the best individual numbers ever. We have the best 401(k) numbers ever. We have the number one stock market, 80 -- 81 days out of a short period of time, ever.
White House video, Official White House video source container06:05We have the best numbers in history. We have the most money being invested in our country, ever, by many times. So we have all these numbers. And honestly, the press doesn't talk about it.
White House video, Official White House video source container06:19And I would say this, I give U.S. an A+ on the government, on economics, on everything. Look at inflation. I inherited the worst inflation in history under Biden, worst in history, and now it's great.
White House video, Official White House video source container06:33It's really good. We've got it down. And oil is going to come down very, very soon. Oil is coming down as soon as Iran is finished and they're finished pretty much right now. We're getting more oil out of the Hormuz Strait now than we did before the war.
White House video, Official White House video source container06:53The Press: Iran has a proxy in the Middle East. What about the proxy of Hezbollah? The President: They go as goes Iran, so go the proxies. (talking simultaneously) The Press: Why haven't you made the final decision on U.S.
07:07Army base in Poland? Why haven't you decided -- The President: Well, you don't know if I made it or not. I might have made it. I like Poland. The Press: What are you looking for in a new press secretary?
White House video, Official White House video source container07:18The President: Well, we have a lot of people that want that job. I would say many of them are right here. Would you like that job? Uh, maybe a guy like Peter, but he's making too much money.
White House video, Official White House video source container07:31He's gone. I lost him as soon as he negotiated his last contract, didn't I? The Press: What do you say to Democrats who are concerned with rising costs? What do you say to Democrats -- The President: No, costs are coming way down.
White House video, Official White House video source container07:45The Democrats gave U.S. the highest cost in history. They gave U.S. the highest inflation in history. As you know, costs are coming way down. Oil is lower now than it was in the Biden administration and the difference is, Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.
White House video, Official White House video source container08:01They would have had a nuclear weapon in the Biden administration. Costs are way down and they're coming down further. We have inflation totally in control, and we've done a great job. And the thing I haven't done a good job with is explaining it to people.
White House video, Official White House video source container08:17We have the most successful period of time for a president in terms of building our country, in the history of our country. There has never been a time like this. We were a dead country two years ago.
White House video, Official White House video source container08:31Now we're the hottest country in the world. And economically, we have $21 trillion, with a T, trillion dollars being invested in the U.S.. The record was a different country, a very big country and it was 10 years ago and the number was $3 trillion.
White House video, Official White House video source container08:48We're at $21 trillion for a period of 15 months. As an example -- as an example, we're at $21 trillion for 15 months. It ended at the 15. Biden was a $0.5 trillion for four years, and he was going negative.
White House video, Official White House video source container09:07If they got in, you would have had a depression. If they got in, if the Democrats get in, but if they got in, instead of having the hottest country in the world, you would have had a depression.
White House video, Official White House video source container09:17I'm talking about a 1929-style depression. The Press: First of all -- first of all, has anybody briefed you about whether or not the guy, the pilot of the Fly Dubai plane is linked to Iran?
White House video, Official White House video source container09:33The President: We're working on it right now. They're being very open with U.S.. Uh, I would say the answer based on what I'm hearing is yes, but we're working on it right now. The Press: So this guy might have been either put in there by the IRGC or radicalized some other way, and then he tries to take down this plane?
White House video, Official White House video source container09:50The President: It could have been, yeah. The Press: And my other question for you is, if Ken Paxton is telling people behind closed doors that he thinks the convention hurt his poll numbers, why go to Texas?
White House video, Official White House video source container10:02The President: Well, I'll tell you what, we have to win this election. That convention -- you were there. That convention was a tremendous success. It went up against the NFL. And as you know, they had 24 -- I guess it was -- I said 25 yesterday.
White House video, Official White House video source container10:17It was actually, they had 24 million views and we had 107 million views. In other words, we beat the NFL by four times and maybe that was so for Ken, but I can tell you, we were there for a lot of reasons.
White House video, Official White House video source container10:32First of all, I won Texas all three times. I won the Hispanic vote all three times. Texas has been great to me. I'm going to Oklahoma now, uh, for the most part, but we have the governor's race but he should win.
White House video, Official White House video source container10:46He wasn't favored to win, but I endorsed him and he beat somebody that was unbeatable, Drummond. And he's going to be great. So I'm going to Oklahoma now because I won all -- think of it, I want all three -- every county.
White House video, Official White House video source container11:00They have 77 counties. I won every single county all three times. Number two was Ronald Reagan at 56. I was 77. So they have 77 counties. I won them. So they say, why are you going?
White House video, Official White House video source container11:13I'm going there because, like Alabama, same thing. I'm going because you have to thank these states that are with you 1,000 percent. And I haven't been there in a while, and I want to just thank them.
White House video, Official White House video source container11:25But we also have a governor's race that I don't -- I think it's over, but we have to make sure people get out and vote even in Oklahoma. So I love Oklahoma, I love Alabama, I love a lot of -- Texas as an example.
White House video, Official White House video source container11:38But I go there because they want to see me there. (talking simultaneously) The Press: Mr. President, do you think that Cornell University has done enough to investigate the alleged rape on campus? The President: Well, I don't know that much about it, but Cornell is a fine school, and I'm sure they'll do what's right.
White House video, Official White House video source container11:53The Press: Mr. President, will the U.S. retaliate against Iran if they are behind that attack on the plane? Will the U.S. retaliate? The President: Oh, they'll be hit very hard. Don't worry. You just ask them.
White House video, Official White House video source container12:03They know what happened. They'll be hit very hard. Look, Iran now -- Iran now has got 301 percent inflation. Their money is valueless. Their economy is gone. They have no military. They have no anti-aircraft computers.
White House video, Official White House video source container12:19They have very little going, and we control the strait. We took out more oil in the last two days than at any time in the history of the Strait, and that includes before the war.
White House video, Official White House video source container12:31(talking simultaneously) The President: I tell you what, you know what it is, our Navy is incredible. Our military is incredible, the job they've done. Now I have to make a decision. They'll either sign a very fair deal or they won't exist any longer.
White House video, Official White House video source container12:48Thank you very much.
White House video, Official White House video source container00:00Well, thank you very much, everybody. We just landed in Texas, which we won by massive numbers three times. And we have a lot of great people with me. I think you recognize all of them, otherwise you weren't doing this for too long a period.
00:14James Lankford, you know Senator. You know Senator Cruz. We have some of the best congressmen on the planet here, so we appreciate you. Have any questions? economic message today? I know yesterday you said sometimes you don't get that with your positive voters.
White House video, Official White House video source container00:31We have to get the message cuz we have the best numbers of any president in history. The one thing we don't do, you know, we don't get a fair shake from the media. If they report it, they just don't report the numbers, so uh we were just talking about it and so we're watching one of the stations and they're announcing the best numbers ever.
00:48Lowest poverty numbers, best poverty numbers, nobody's ever seen anything like it. The best individual numbers that anybody's ever seen. The best. Uh the highest stock market 81 times now in a short period of time.
01:03The best stock The best 401(k)s. Everything, nobody could compete. And maybe most of all, $21 built all over the United States. There's never been anything like it. But the press doesn't report it. Yeah.
White House video, Official White House video source container01:21U.S. asking Europe European countries to release some of their diesel stock to try to bring prices down at all? Well, we may do that. They have some diesel, but we got the prices are coming down.
01:31All prices are coming down. So, we inherited the worst numbers ever from the Democrats and we're bringing them way down. Inflation is very little problem right now. Uh the one thing we have is oil is a little high, but oil is much lower than it was for Biden.
01:44And we did something that Biden didn't do. Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. So, we did that and Biden, unfortunately, and many other presidents decided not to do that. Mr. President, uh diesel prices have indeed started to trend downward even from last week.
02:01Um how do you plan to underscore the message of the growth that we've seen this term uh in your in your remarks? really. I appreciate it. Uh the question is I wish more people would ask that question.
02:14We have great numbers. We're doing a great job of management. We're uh ending Iran will very soon be ending one way or the other. It'll either just stay Look, they have 301% inflation. They have no money.
02:28They have no currency. Their military's been defeated. Their navy's gone. Their air force is gone. Everything's gone. And uh one way or the other it's going to end very quickly. And when that ends, oil prices are going to drop like a rock.
White House video, Official White House video source container02:44Mr. President Um you have confirmed that Iran was involved in the RAF Fairford failed Looking like they were. I can't say that with confirmation, but it's looking like that. What do you hope to accomplish tonight in Oklahoma?
White House video, Official White House video source container02:59here for Peterbilt. It's a big great company and they're building a massive plant and we're cutting a ribbon of sorts and it's an honor. And then we're going to Oklahoma with James. I don't know if other people are coming from Texas, maybe not.
White House video, Official White House video source container03:11Mr. President, I'll leave you guys alone. Mr. President What do you hope to accomplish in Oklahoma today? Just a speech. We're going to give a speech on how well we're doing. They know it.
03:19I just watched they have a line that goes 2 mi long trying to get in. In bad weather, actually. Pretty bad weather and the people are just They're great. They're great. They are They are just saying, "Nobody's done a job like we've done.
03:32There's never been a job done like we've done, but we we haven't gotten the word out." So, I say we've done a bad public relations job, but a great management job and that's more important.
White House video, Official White House video source container03:4677 counties you won all all of those counties in Oklahoma. All of them. I think I should move there. [laughter] But I'll never challenge James. Come on. I promise. I've already endorsed him, so I can't.
03:58I can't. Can you endorse somebody and then run against [laughter] somebody? Mr. President, you've been critical of CNN and the other media outlets for their their coverage. What do you feel about those who feel like you're doing too much with your executive of power?
White House video, Official White House video source container04:12You're using it too much to go after political opponents, against the media, things like that. I don't think I've used it a lot at all. If you look at Obama what he did was far worse.
04:21He'd go and use his executive powers at a much level. For instance, when he had leaks, they would arrest the people that the reporters, unless they gave them the no the names and the addresses of the reporter or whoever it is that gave the leak.
White House video, Official White House video source container04:37Obama used to go in and if there was a leak, they would say, "People, you have 15 minutes and if you don't give U.S. the information, you're going to jail." And I guess two people went to jail, 10 people gave it up.
White House video, Official White House video source container04:51I haven't done that yet. Mr. President, Mr. President, Yes. what's your message to Speaker Ryan and the Republicans in the House before going into the midterms and that the Republicans lose Well, I don't know.
05:00They say so, but you know, they didn't know I was going to go campaigning all over the country and I am. And we have great people. We have some of the greatest congressmen. This man is one of the bravest men you'll ever meet.
White House video, Official White House video source container05:12He happened to be at the shooting. He happened to be unfortunately that they practicing for the baseball game that they ended up winning. But he was there at that field, which was a hell of a with great bravery, by the way.
05:22And I'm not surprised. Now, we have great These are representative of our people in Congress. They're world-class people. We have a very deep bench in every way. Yeah. After after the botched execution last night in Tennessee, are you going to be pushing for any changes for capital punishment?
White House video, Official White House video source container05:41Well, that was an interesting situation, but you have you're going to have to speak to Tennessee about it. Um whether or not they're going to go forward you know what that was about. That was an execution where the medication didn't exactly work.
White House video, Official White House video source container05:55He would answer it better than anybody. How does that happen? He's a great doctor. Should be easy to do. It shouldn't be very difficult. in 2024. A lot of Latino voters supported you in 2024.
White House video, Official White House video source container06:07They still do. Including some in Texas. I think they support the Latino uh voters. I think all the voters. I think if I ran today I'd win by 25%. They're being betrayed by immigration and economic policies.
06:18What do you say to them? What's your message? the immigration but we have to do what we have to do. We're getting uh murderers, drug dealers, uh rapists, people that have been really bad people for a long period of time.
White House video, Official White House video source container06:31People with terrible records, people that came out of prisons. That's our first priority. We're getting them out and we're getting them out fast and we're getting them out you see in record numbers. You're you're you're you're you're visiting some red states.
06:41Why the red states of Oklahoma and Texas? Are you going to get a battleground? You know what? Uh we talked about it on the plane. Oklahoma I'm going there out of respect. I haven't been there in a while.
White House video, Official White House video source container06:54They've given me a record vote all three times. Nobody's ever done all 77 counties. I did it three times. And I'm really doing it to say thank you. I'm doing some Alabama the same thing.
07:04I have many states. Texas. I mean I won Texas by a lot. Now Texas I guess we have a race. We shouldn't have a race because frankly Ken is Ken was a great attorney general and he is a great attorney general.
White House video, Official White House video source container07:20And the other guy is he's a freak. He's a he's a total freak. And you know what? The the country can't have a negative vote like that. Whether they like him or don't like him if you like Texas and if you love if you love your country you can't give a vote to this mass body of people because bad things are going to happen to our country.
07:43Look at the borders in Texas. They had open borders. They went through hell. I came along. They were closed in 60 days. So, we just had our 17th month where zero people came in.
07:54Hard to believe actually. Over a period of 17 months we had zero illegal aliens coming in place. Mr. President, how deleterious will the Democrats be to the growth that we've seen in your term if they take office?
White House video, Official White House video source container08:10If the Democrats get in, we will end up in a financial depression. We will go into a depression the likes of which we've never seen before. It'll be 1929. That's my opinion. They're grossly incompetent.
08:22They have no idea what they're doing. Thank you very much everybody. Great job.

White House video, Official White House video source container05:07He went, he said, "Your policies have made this place so successful. Without your policies, it would be a whole different ballgame. And I just want to thank you. Uh, you've let U.S. thrive. And I really appreciate -- " Where the hell is Preston?
05:21Where are you? What a nice -- what a -- thank you. Thank you, Preston. What a nice statement. It happens to be true, but I have to say. No, we, we do, we do the right policies.
White House video, Official White House video source container05:39And I want to thank Preston and hello to Texas. We won it three times in landslides. We got the highest vote. We got the highest vote all three times in the history of Texas.
White House video, Official White House video source container05:53So think of it, all these politicians running, we got the highest vote. It's U.S.. We got it together. But it's a great place. I'm thrilled to be back in the Lone Star State with the proud hardworking patriots of Peterbilt Motor Company.
White House video, Official White House video source container06:09And I've always liked their, the look, especially that particular one right there. Oh no, I love that shape. You know, that one, there's no bullshit. It's a lot of, somebody said, "Oh, it may not be as aerodynamic as some of the others."
White House video, Official White House video source container06:29I said, "I don't care. I couldn't care less." They put in a bigger engine, right? So I think it's great. I love it. But your beautiful equipment, and I've always been a big fan of this company.
White House video, Official White House video source container06:38I didn't know I'd be doing this someday, but they asked me to come because you're doing massive expansions. And I said, "How many trucks out of this plant? How many trucks do you do?"
White House video, Official White House video source container06:48You know, I figured I'd say 200 a year. He said, "No, 200 a day." I said, "No, you don't. You don't do." Then I confirmed it with this gentleman right here. We confirmed it.
06:57200. I wanted to check on Preston. And, uh, no, they make, think of it, 200, like this, 200 trucks a day. That's incredible. And they sell them so fast. They sell them faster than they can make them, if you can believe it.
White House video, Official White House video source container07:17And that's why you're expanding and you're doing a big expansion and proud to be here to be with you to celebrate that. For more than 85 years, the men and women of Peterbilt have produced some of the toughest, strongest, highest-quality trucks anywhere in the world.
White House video, Official White House video source container07:30They sell all over the world. It doesn't matter. You know, you hear about other countries. They only did it because we had stupid tax policy. That's why we have a better product. And this is a great example of it, but proudly bearing the iconic red oval and stamped with that beautiful phrase, "Made in the USA."
White House video, Official White House video source container07:49You put that phrase, "Made in the USA." People are putting that down. It's meaning a lot. In the old days, they used to have it automatically made in America, made in the USA. Now they're saying it again because we have the greatest numbers of any president in the history of our country.
White House video, Official White House video source container08:05And I can't get the word out. I can't get the word out. Right? There's Preston. Preston, so we, we have literally the greatest numbers. We have, first of all, there are more people working in the United States right now than at any time in the history of the United States by far.
White House video, Official White House video source container08:24More people working. We have the best poverty numbers, the lowest numbers on poverty in the history of our country, poverty numbers. Not nice to talk about it, but nice to say, it's the best ever on the subject of poverty.
White House video, Official White House video source container08:39We have the best ever on the subject of individual wealth, higher for everybody than ever before. The best stock markets, 81 days out of a short period of a year and a half, 81 days, think of it.
White House video, Official White House video source container08:53Uh, we had record stock markets, 81 days. So it's a big percentage of the time. And the stock market is through the roof. And why that's good is your 401(k)s are higher than they've ever been before and it's never been close.
White House video, Official White House video source container09:06So we're doing great, but I can't get the word out. I said, I'm doing great on, and by the way, and Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. And as you know, we went to war with Venezuela and we lost nobody.
White House video, Official White House video source container09:26We lost nobody. We lost no people. We had one pilot who was very seriously injured and we gave him the Congressional Medal of Honor because he flew in with a leg that was practically blown off and he landed it perfectly and he wanted to land it and he had to land it.
White House video, Official White House video source container09:42He had a lot of troops on that helicopter, a big Chinook. And he landed it exactly where it had to be or the whole thing could have been like the catastrophes that you've been witnessing over the last 40 years.
White House video, Official White House video source container09:53They always had problems. But we didn't have any problems and we went and we took out one of the most evil men in the world and we had him captured within minutes, literally in a big military base with thousands of soldiers.
White House video, Official White House video source container10:07We sent in 201 men with gunfire blazing. I'll tell you, we were blazing. They were running. You never saw anybody run like that. And they took out Maduro and they got him. And, uh, you know what he did?
White House video, Official White House video source container10:24He sent a lot of people right through your beautiful state because he emptied his prisons into the United States of America. All of his prisoners were emptied into Texas all along the border because of Biden's open border policy.
White House video, Official White House video source container10:38But we ended that. We're getting them out. We've gotten tremendous numbers of them out. We take the worst first, we take them all, but we get the worst. We have some of the worst people on earth were put into our country.
White House video, Official White House video source container10:49And despite that, we have the best crime numbers at any time since the year 1900. It's a hundred and twenty-six years ago. Think of it. 1900. So we're very proud of it. And we're very proud of your company and we're very proud to be here.
White House video, Official White House video source container11:04And thank you very much, Preston. Again, thank you. So workers, workers like you and companies like this have always been loyal to our country, but for decades you were heartlessly betrayed by politicians, lousy politicians who let foreign trade cheaters plunder your wages, loot your factories, close up your jobs, and they robbed our country blind.
White House video, Official White House video source container11:34They'd still be doing it if I wasn't here, believe me. And they'll do it again if you don't get guys like Ken Paxton elected, you know? Such a big race. It's such a big race.
White House video, Official White House video source container11:49And I want to just say that, uh, he's been a friend of mine for a long time, one of the most loyal people. When I was, uh, being hit by the radical left very hard, harder than very few people could have withstood it, I was being hit.
White House video, Official White House video source container12:03Ken Paxton was at my side more than anybody. And, uh, I have to always remember that because he could be a pain in ass sometimes, I'll be honest. Is he here, by the way?
12:12Oh, there he is. Good. I didn't, I didn't even know if he's here. I don't care. I've just, I would say the same thing whether he, the guy is the greatest attorney general in the United States of America.
White House video, Official White House video source container12:28Look at all the, look at all the fake news back there. I'm really -- I'm saying -- 'cause we got to get this guy elected. You got a freak-o. You got a freak-o that's running against him.
12:36Give me a break. You notice the way all of a sudden he's eating meat. He doesn't eat meat. He's a vegan. And vegans, you know what a vegan is? Vegans don't do well in Texas, okay?
White House video, Official White House video source container12:51So now he goes to a barbecue, he eats meat. You know what he does after he eats? He says, "Excuse me just for -- " He goes behind the tent and he throws up.
12:56He throws up. He gets rid of the meat. He doesn't want meat. No, this guy's not the right guy for Texas. I know it well. Remember, the all-time record is Trump, but, uh, Ken -- I'm really here for Ken and for some unbelievable congressmen, and for Ted Cruz has been my friend for a long time.
White House video, Official White House video source container13:16We fought rather violently. Remember? Where's Ted? There he is. We fought, but, uh, Ted Cruz has done a great job. Nobody works harder than Ted. And, uh, we love him, really. But we did fight.
White House video, Official White House video source container13:30We got along so well at the beginning. Remember 2016? And the press, those people, look at all those people back there. They say, "Well, when are you guys going to fight?" He actually had a rally and he asked if I'd come.
White House video, Official White House video source container13:40I said, "That's strange, but I will." And we did it right in Washington, D.C. We had a big crowd. And the press said, "When are you two guys going to fight?" I said, "Don't worry.
13:48It'll happen." I didn't know it was -- going to be quite as violent as it turned out. But once that was over, we got along and he's been a great senator too. But I'll tell you what, we need, we need Ken so badly and, uh, that's why I'm here.
14:02I wanted to stop here. I wanted to also say you build a nice truck, but we You're not going to have too many nice trucks if you get a couple of negative votes. All they need is a couple of votes.
White House video, Official White House video source container14:13It's not even a question of Texas. It's a question of the overall vote. And we have to get, number one, Texas represents so much. It would be such a horror to the system. To, to put a guy, a freak like that in there would be such a horror to your, your state and such a horror to the country.
White House video, Official White House video source container14:30But it's a vote, and we need the votes, and I'm here for that. And I think we're going to win. We, every place I've gone, we win. You know, the press says, "Oh, I don't know.
White House video, Official White House video source container14:39Trump really, his heart isn't in." My heart's in it. I would be home right now if my heart, my heart is in it like never before. We had an election in, little while ago, year and a half, little more than a year and a half ago.
White House video, Official White House video source container14:52Got the highest vote in the history of the Republican Party. We got, the real number was probably 85 or 87 million votes. They gave U.S. credit for 78 or 79. They don't even know.
15:02You know, they say, "I don't know. He got around 79, 78." They have no idea because it's so rigged. But we made it too big to rig. I said, "Get out and vote." We made it too big because the second one, I mean, when you look at what's going on in California with, like, the mayoral race and you look at what's, you know, with the kid, Spencer Pratt, was doing great.
White House video, Official White House video source container15:27And at the end of the election, Election Day, his opponent was crying. Oh, she's lost so badly. She was crying. Then all of a sudden, like a week and a half later, you hear that she's surging.
15:37Nobody ever heard of her. You know, people that nobody ever heard of don't surge. The only time they surge is when they cheat. And she was surging and she just beat him by a little bit.
White House video, Official White House video source container15:50What a disgrace. We have to have, look, we have to have a fair and free media, which we don't have. You have some very good reporters there, but you have some very bad ones.
White House video, Official White House video source container16:00You have some very evil -- sicko people. But they do have good -- but they do have, they do have good photographers that are right here. All good. So I just hope you're going to do that.
White House video, Official White House video source container16:13And I just want to say that the American workers, and they respect you so much, the American people respect what you've done. And this is a part of the country that's very, very special.
White House video, Official White House video source container16:24You love your country more than, look, I'm going to a place called Oklahoma right now. And likewise, oh, listen to that, that's good. And, and they have a massive crowd. They're waiting in the rain.
16:35It's raining like hell. And they said, "You know -- " He said, "Keep them waiting." Listen. Well, it's only in Texas, can you say, no, but they said, "You know what you can do, sir?
White House video, Official White House video source container16:48We could skip Texas." I said, "Are you crazy?" Oh. If I skip Texas, I would tell you to vote against Ken. I wouldn't skip Texas. We'll be a little late. And they understand it. They're great too.
White House video, Official White House video source container17:03They're great too. We (Inaudible) 70 -- so think of it, they have 77 counties in Oklahoma. And we won all 77 all three times. And I'm the only one to ever do it. I'm the only one.
White House video, Official White House video source container17:16And, uh, the only one to ever do it. And you know who was second? I think it was Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan, 56. 77. So I got to be nice to them, right?
White House video, Official White House video source container17:27But we love them. They're waiting -- by the thousands. And I still, I'm not going to rush anything. We're going to have a little conversation. But every other president for decades let other nations flood our markets with shoddy and substandard foreign goods.
White House video, Official White House video source container17:41And even if it was reasonably good goods, they destroyed American manufacturing and they destroyed your way of life. And you were suffering through it. I guess you did suffer through it for a period of time, Preston, until I came along.
White House video, Official White House video source container17:54But upon taking office, I immediately placed my favorite word, actually my fifth favorite, you know that story. I don't want to bore you with it, but I said the word tariff is my favorite word.
White House video, Official White House video source container18:08And the fake news, they were, they went crazy. They said, "What about God? What about your wife, your children, family? What about religion? Aren't they your real favorite words?" I said, "Absolutely. Yes, they are.
18:22Tariff is my fifth favorite." And now I don't have any problem with them. So I quelled it. So tariff is my fifth favorite word. And that's what really Preston was talking about. He didn't even have to say it to me.
White House video, Official White House video source container18:37But we kept all of those people out that used to rip off our country. They'd drop their products here. They'd walk away with the, with the money and you'd walk away with no jobs.
White House video, Official White House video source container18:48But not with me. And we changed it. We have more factories being built, like you're doing so well. They're -- they're doing well. Better than anybody in the history of our country. All over the country, they're building factories, plants, manufacturing's coming back.
White House video, Official White House video source container19:03Remember Barack Hussein Obama said, "Manufacturing will never come back to America." He was very wrong. We have more jobs coming back to America. And I, I really said that. The only thing we're doing badly at is public relations.
White House video, Official White House video source container19:17In other words, we're doing a phenomenal job, but by a combination of maybe we're doing a bad job in selling it. That's why I said I'm going to take 32 days, you know, for myself.
White House video, Official White House video source container19:27Selfishly, Ken, I'm sorry to say this, but for myself I took 120. I took four -- four months and I went every single day. I did rallies almost every day. I did speeches, four, five, six speeches.
White House video, Official White House video source container19:42And I went for four months. That was tiring. And my only question is, will my voice hold out? And I made it, barely. I made it. And the last day I did five rallies.
White House video, Official White House video source container19:53The day before that I did four rallies. That's hard. These are rallies with 35, 40,000 people sometimes. Sometimes much more. My record was 117,000 people. In New Jersey shore. It was quite a rally, I will tell you.
White House video, Official White House video source container20:08Then we had another rally called Butler. Butler, Pennsylvania. It was an interesting rally. That one didn't work out so well. But, uh, whatever it is, it's, uh, we're, we're doing a job. We're all here to do a job.
White House video, Official White House video source container20:21But I have such respect for the people in this room. I want to say that thanks to our strong tariff policy, this year American exports have surged to the highest level in history, in the history of our country.
White House video, Official White House video source container20:35Our trade deficit with China has plummeted to the lowest level that we've had in 44 years. Wait, and, and by the way, President Xi, we get along great. He's a great, great gentleman, frankly.
White House video, Official White House video source container20:46You know, he likes China and I like the USA, but other than that, he's a real leader. I always say he's central casting. He is, you have to say. He's central casting, but we get along great.
White House video, Official White House video source container20:57That's a good thing. To get along good is good, but we do well with China now. They, they used to rip U.S. so badly. Canada rips U.S. so badly. Ugh, Canada, what they do to U.S., but not anymore.
White House video, Official White House video source container21:07They're not doing that anymore. But wages for manufacturing workers are up by nearly almost close to $4,000 since I took office. And after years of decline this year, the United States has added 60,000 new manufacturing jobs, and heavy truck manufacturing is almost up by about, what, 31% or something.
White House video, Official White House video source container21:29And heavy truck shipments have hit an all-time high, the highest in the history of our country under the Trump administration. So America trucking is back. American truck, American trucking is back. Two years ago, our country was dead.
White House video, Official White House video source container21:46You know, this was said to me by the king, by the leader, by the crown prince of Saudi Arabia. He's a good man. And he said this a year ago, but he said, "But nothing's changed."
21:57It's actually gotten better. Nobody, no president has ever, ever. And you have to understand when I say this, I have all the news back there. If I say something a little bit incorrect, it's headlines.
White House video, Official White House video source container22:10"He lied. He lied." If sleepy Joe Biden said something incorrect, they don't care. But they never used to ask him hard questions. Remember, they'd always say, how many times have you heard them say, "What's your favorite ice cream?"
White House video, Official White House video source container22:24That was the hardest question. "Mr. President, sir, uh, sir, what's your favorite ice cream?" "Uh, uh, vanilla." "Thank you, sir." Let me call upon, remember with me, I just take, "Let me call upon," he'd go, "Um, from NBC.
White House video, Official White House video source container22:49Um, yes, NBC." Is NBC here? I don't do that. Then they'd ask him a softball, all softballs. It was a terrible thing. If our country had to suffer through a Joe or a Kamala or Obama, any of these people, we wouldn't be, we wouldn't have been, if I didn't win that election, and when I say I, I'm talking about U.S..
White House video, Official White House video source container23:10If we didn't win that election, we wouldn't have a country anymore. Our country was going down the tubes. I told you the, the money coming into our country was almost non-existent. The factories were closing all over the country with the worst inflation in history, in history.
White House video, Official White House video source container23:27You know, I inherited high prices. And the first day I got in I beat them. And I had a news conference on January 21st. I came in on January 20th and the press started screaming at me about the cost of eggs.
White House video, Official White House video source container23:39"What about eggs? What are you going to do about eggs?" I said, "What's with eggs? Tell me what's with eggs." They went up like four times, five times. They were crazy. In fact, they said -- we have a Easter egg hunt at the White House.
White House video, Official White House video source container23:53They asked me to use plastic eggs. I said, "I'm not using plastic eggs." Can you believe it? "But what are you going to do, sir, about eggs?" I said, "Tell me the problem with eggs, please."
White House video, Official White House video source container24:04"Uh, they've gone up five times in the last four years while you was the president." But we did a great job. Brooke did a fantastic job. Secretary of Agriculture and eggs now are cheaper than they were five years ago.
White House video, Official White House video source container24:18We're bringing prices way down and oil is lower. Gasoline is lower than it was with Biden despite the fact that we have a war going on with a country that will never have a nuclear weapon and is ready to fold up.
24:31We'll win very easily right now. They're just about, I, I believe right after the election we'll win, but maybe before the election because they have 300%, almost like 312 I heard, inflation. Think of that.
White House video, Official White House video source container24:52312% inflation, meaning their currency is valueless. They have no money. They have no navy. The navy, 159 ships all lying beautifully at the bottom of the sea. They have no air force. Their air force has been totally extinguished.
White House video, Official White House video source container25:13They have no anti-aircraft. They have some missiles, but we can handle it. We can handle it. They have some missiles, very few left. Their manufacturing capacity is dead. Their leaders are gone. For the most part, their leaders are gone. That was one of our problems.
White House video, Official White House video source container25:26Uh, we don't know who the hell to deal with to be honest with you. Nobody wants to be president. We have intercepts where it says, "Who wants to be president?" "No, I don't want to be president", because their presidents aren't with U.S. any longer, but we're trying to, we're trying to be nice to the current person.
White House video, Official White House video source container25:44We got to deal with somebody at some point, right? So we're doing very well. Even the fake New York Times is saying, "Not looking good for Iran right now." They should have said it about five months ago because it wasn't looking good.
25:59But think of it. We had two wars, one with Venezuela, which lasted approximately 48 minutes. And they're good soldiers, by the way, but we came in with fire and fury and they never saw anything like it.
White House video, Official White House video source container26:16They had a Venezuelan general, a real professional. He said, "I stood there. We were all set together. We saw them coming off that aircraft carrier at two o'clock in the morning, and they were coming and they knew they were coming for U.S.
White House video, Official White House video source container26:28because it's unusual that at one and two o'clock in the morning you see 150 fighter jets pour off and then you have the one next to it where you have 112 fighter jets pour."
White House video, Official White House video source container26:40This, they figured they were in a little trouble because it's rare at one and two o'clock in the morning that you see hundreds of planes flying off the carrier going very fast. And when they take -- came to shore, which was a matter of minutes, they were raging.
White House video, Official White House video source container26:57They were raging and it was something that nobody had ever seen. They had all Russian equipment and Chinese equipment. It didn't work. Discombobulator, you know what that is, right? It discombobulated all that crap.
White House video, Official White House video source container27:09Now we make the greatest equipment in the world, just like you make the greatest trucks in the world.Greatest trucks in the world. And Preston, don't make a commercial out of that statement, okay? 'Cause I got other truck companies that do a nice job also, Preston.
White House video, Official White House video source container27:30He'll put me up. Major announcement from, we make the greatest trucks. But you do. And, and, and we have other great companies, you know that. Great companies, all of them. But what we've done, so think of it.
White House video, Official White House video source container27:41So we took over Venezuela -- let's say one day. Let's not say in 48. It was, it was 48 minutes, but let's say one day. And remember that Maduro was locked in a steel house, heavy steel house.
White House video, Official White House video source container27:56It was meant to be a house of protection. They broke those doors open in less time than it takes you to start that truck, which is pretty fast. And it was an amazing event.
White House video, Official White House video source container28:09We lost no soldiers and we took over tremendous wealth. We are sending millions and millions of barrels of oil to Houston and other places, Louisiana, Houston, Alaska even. We're refining it at levels we've never seen before.
White House video, Official White House video source container28:25Soon we're going to be starting to fill up our strategic oil reserve. And we're going to do it at almost no cost. We're going to get it for almost no cost. It's amazing. But it's great.
28:34And then we went into Venezuela. We just had the best numbers we ever had. And I went to Lutnick and I went to, I went to Scott Bessent, I went to all our people.
White House video, Official White House video source container28:46Jamieson Greer, great trade representative. I said, "Fellas, we just had the greatest numbers in history, but we're going to have to do a little detour because Iran is about to have a nuclear weapon."
White House video, Official White House video source container28:57They were three to four weeks away, maybe sooner. And if they have a nuclear weapon, the whole game is over. We can't let them have. So in the midst of our great, when gasoline was, I was in Iowa making a speech, and it was $1.95 a gallon.
White House video, Official White House video source container29:11Another station was $1.85 a gallon. I remember those two numbers like magic. Good memory too, but that was an easy thing to love and remember. And I said, "Fellas, I'm sorry to do this to you, but we have to put out the fire in the Middle East because they'll blow up Israel.
29:26They'll blow up the Middle East and then they're going to start hitting U.S. in Europe." They're crazy. These people are totally crazy. I mean, they scream, "Death to America." They've been screaming it for 51 years, "Death to America."
White House video, Official White House video source container29:41I said, "How do you feel about that now?" So we had no choice. We had to do it. And they said oil would go to $300 and $400 a barrel. Well, today it's at 90.
29:52And the last few days we've taken out more oil from the Hormuz Strait. Our Navy is unbelievable. They put up a blockade. We're the only ones that could get through or somebody that we want.
White House video, Official White House video source container30:04Iran hasn't had one ship get through. Not one ship in months. Not bad. And, and what happened, and what happened is, uh, we're taking out, uh, millions and millions of barrels of oil, uh, in some cases more than before the war.
White House video, Official White House video source container30:23They don't want to report that, the fake news. And it's gotten bigger and bigger. And they don't have radar, they don't have much they can do. Every once in a while they'll try and drop a mine in the water.
White House video, Official White House video source container30:33Usually will take them out before they do it. But when mine goes in the water, if you have a billion-dollar ship, you know, you don't love, you don't float, love floating a ship down the Strait of this.
White House video, Official White House video source container30:42One little mine. So they could be a nuisance, but, uh, we have that in control. When that happens, when that ends, which will be very soon, one way or the other, it's going to end.
White House video, Official White House video source container30:50Either they'll do something very proper and smart or they won't be around very long, which is, you know, frankly, I hate to see that. But they won't be around very long. There's a group of people that want that because they say you basically, you can't make a deal with them that they're going to honor.
White House video, Official White House video source container31:07When I make a deal with this company, you're going to honor it. When you make a deal with them, it's very possible that they won't honor it. So one way or the other, it's going to be over.
White House video, Official White House video source container31:15And when it's over, oil is going to go like that. In the meantime, prices have come way down, oil prices. But just so you understand, and they say this for those cameras out there that are so crazy.
31:24They're so crazy. I don't get them. I don't get them. They want men and women's sports. They want open borders. They want transgender mutilization of your children for everyone. What the hell are you people thinking about, liberals?
White House video, Official White House video source container31:39What are they? What are you thinking about? I hope they keep their policy though because they should never win an election. Ken, are you in favor of the transgender mutilization of our children? Are you in favor of men playing in women's sports?
White House video, Official White House video source container31:56Are you in favor of open borders so that the world's prison population can be emptied out in this beautiful community? Are you in favor? All right. Well, I think you're going to win the election because, because your opponent is actually in favor of all those things and many more that are just as bad, just as bad.
White House video, Official White House video source container32:20You got to get out and vote. So starting on day one, I ended the radical Dumocrats. I started using that word because they're policies of the Dumocrats. I think it's good. I don't know if it's ever going to compete with Pocahontas.
White House video, Official White House video source container32:35I don't know if it's ever going to compete with some of the terms that we've come up with, but think of it, you take out the E, you replace it with a U, and nobody knows that dumb has a B at the end, right?
White House video, Official White House video source container32:45So we throw that. And I call them Dumocrats because their policies are so bad, but the Dumocrats, Green New Scam. Remember, we're supposed to all be dead by now, 12 years. In 12 years, who was that?
32:56AOC said that, right? In 12 years, you'll all be dead because of global warming. Well, that didn't work out because the planet got cooler. In fact, you know, the ice that was melting, it's right now just set a record.
White House video, Official White House video source container33:09It's the biggest ice cube that's ever been in the history of the world. So they changed it from global warming to climate change because climate change, Preston, climate change, you can't go wrong. Climate change, if it gets hot, cold, if it rains, if it snows, nobody knows the difference.
White House video, Official White House video source container33:25It's climate change. No, it's a scam. And they're doing the scam with data centers, by the way, that's the new thing, because they want U.S. to be unsuccessful. These things are making a fortune.
White House video, Official White House video source container33:35But what's happening now is people are, I told the people I met with them all yesterday. It's a huge thing. It's bigger than the Industrial Revolution. Huge for your company too, by the way.
White House video, Official White House video source container33:44But they're making a fortune. And I said, "Go and do what they've done in some cases is take care of the community. Take care of the community." And communities, in one case, in Louisiana, they offered $50,000 to teachers who were very poor.
White House video, Official White House video source container33:59And the teachers in this beautiful parish are getting $50,000. In another case, they're giving $10,000 to all of the people in the community. And I said, "Do that. It's peanuts." I told them, "Do it.
34:10And call it a dividend." And that's what they're doing. And they're giving a dividend. And all of a sudden, people are saying, "We like data centers very much." It's very interesting. Uh, very interesting how that works.
White House video, Official White House video source container34:23But they're making a fortune for the communities they're in. And it may be not popular to say, maybe it is, probably not, but it should be. And the people in this room are smart.
White House video, Official White House video source container34:33You know, make sure it's in an area that you want it. Some of those buildings are beautiful. You know, you've had data centers for 25, 30 years. People just don't know that. But, uh, so I say to the companies yesterday, I had them all up at the White House.
White House video, Official White House video source container34:46They said, "Take care of the people. Take care of the people. Help them out." And they're going to do that. And all of a sudden, one, uh, group got paid a certain amount for the citizens per citizen.
34:56And they went from hating the concept of a data center to saying, "We love it very much. We love it very much." It's amazing what can happen. And, uh, you sort of become partners in what's happening in this revolution, this positive revolution.
White House video, Official White House video source container35:14But starting on day one, I ended the radical Democrat green scam and I also terminated Sleepy Joe Biden's disasters fuel emission standards, which helped you a lot. That helped you. How much was that?
35:26It's funny. If I had a -- yeah, I do have a glass. I'm not a big drinker of water. See this glass here? So in order to save this much fuel, this much, right, this much, I had to put three computers into an engine, charge $3,000 more, and we have more fuel than any country in the world.
White House video, Official White House video source container35:53And now if you add Venezuela, we'll have 58% of the fuel in the world. In order to save a glass of fuel like this, it's ridiculous. No, it's ridiculous. Now they had computers all over the place.
White House video, Official White House video source container36:11And the other thing is, it didn't work well it was terrible. You know that better than anybody. And I, I really did it for the trucking industry. It's a whole different, it's a better truck.
White House video, Official White House video source container36:21You know, I buy a lot of equipment, farm equipment 'cause I have a lot of clubs, big clubs, big, beautiful golf clubs and things. And I always, I say, I want old equipment. I don't want new equipment.
36:30I want old equipment. Do you have any old lawnmowers from 10 years ago that haven't been destroyed by putting computers all over it? I got nice workers, but they didn't go to MIT and they're looking at a lawnmower that if you didn't go, if you weren't first in your class at MIT, you can never turn the damn thing on, right?
White House video, Official White House video source container36:52So I said, "I want to buy old equipment, old, really old, as old as you can give me because it's ridiculous what happened." We got rid of all that crap and, uh, especially for the trucking industry.
White House video, Official White House video source container37:04But they had a, uh, we're rolling back a horrible thing, the nitrogen oxide regulation. You know about that? Nitrogen oxide, made your business impossible regulation that would've devastated the heavy truck manufacturing. What do you think of it, Preston?
White House video, Official White House video source container37:26Okay, he's liking me. I tell you, he's the greatest guy. I don't know if he's given me a donation, you know? I wonder if he's given, probably not, but that's okay. I like him anyway.
37:33I don't give a damn. But this action alone will cut an estimated $6,000 from the cost of each truck built, and it'll be a better truck. It'll be a much better truck, which is equally important.
White House video, Official White House video source container37:51And these actions are not simply numbers on paper. They're about defending a way of life for countless American families. Today, we're joined by Peterbilt events manager, Sarah Renshaw, who, in December, will celebrate her 20th year at this company.
White House video, Official White House video source container38:08Her mother worked here, her father worked here, her husband worked here. And a few months ago, her beautiful son started his first shift at Peterbilt. In other words, they like the company. So Sarah, where are you, Sarah?
White House video, Official White House video source container38:24Sarah, come up. Come up. I want to see Sarah. Wow, that's amazing. That's a beautiful story. Thank you, darling. That's something. Sarah Renshaw: Thank you, Mr. President. The President: You're welcome, Sarah. Sarah Renshaw: Peterbilt is not just a company.
White House video, Official White House video source container38:51It is the foundation of my family and its success. My husband, mom, dad, son, we have a collective 65 years of employment with -- with way more to come. Mr. President, because of your tariffs, we have been able to hire increased production and hire 1,000 employees.
White House video, Official White House video source container39:40And my son was included on that. I can officially say that we are a third-generation Peterbilt family. I am so thankful for what not only Peterbilt has done for U.S., but what also you, Mr. President, has done for our family.
White House video, Official White House video source container40:08The President: Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you, Sarah. Wow. And she did that with no notes. The President: I like that. That's great, Sarah. Thank you. Congratulations. Great family. We're also joined by assistant plant manager, Phillip Juarez, who started on the shop floor and has now worked here for 25 years.
White House video, Official White House video source container40:36His father, mother, brother, aunt, and uncle all worked at Peterbilt for over 20 years each. This is a serious Peterbilt person. Do we agree? So I'd like to ask Phillip, come up, please. I want to see what this guy, oh, look at him.
40:51Beautiful. Phillip Juarez: Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you very much. Wow. He said it. Peterbilt Motors, the greatest company in the world, right? Right? Yeah. So my story's not different from many of you out here.
White House video, Official White House video source container41:16I know a lot of folks here in 25 years. It started nearly 40 years ago when my father accepted a job out here, 1983. A lot of you in that same, same class. So since then, my mother's worked here and retired from here.
41:32My brother's still here. A whole list of family members that have been here. Extremely proud to be a member of this team and what we can accomplish. I'd say after 25 years, I truly understand what he meant when he said he loved this place.
White House video, Official White House video source container41:50So for Mr. Trump to be able to come up here and, and represent Peterbilt is truly an honor. We've been able to not only build our trucks in America, but sell them in America, 100% of our trucks.
White House video, Official White House video source container42:14I didn't know I was going to get emotional. Thank you, guys. I would like to say though, I appreciate everybody here and one, one man out here, Brian Danhof, our plant manager, your guys' plant manager.
White House video, Official White House video source container42:30He said if you give somebody a good job, they'll do amazing things. Congratulations, guys. Thank you. The President: Wow, that was beautiful. It's from the heart too. So we're also pleased to be joined today by Ken and we love Ken and we're going to get out there.
White House video, Official White House video source container42:54Ken, we're going to vote for you and we're going to make it a big win. We're going to make it a big win. I've, uh, I'm so happy with how you're doing. He is going very high up.
White House video, Official White House video source container43:06There was a lot of jealousy about Ken. A lot of people were very jealous and a lot of bad things. They didn't recognize the great job he did, but I just want to thank you and I want to thank you for being here.
White House video, Official White House video source container43:17You're special man. And again, you're certainly one of the, but I think maybe the best attorney general in the whole United States of America. That's your only qualification for the job. I'd say that's a very good qualification.
White House video, Official White House video source container43:30I think that's the ultimate qualification. So Ken, thank you very much. I appreciate you being here. And, and I also want to thank Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, who worked so hard on getting all of these things done so that Preston could say what he said to me when I first came out of the, the Beast.
White House video, Official White House video source container43:53The Beast is quite cool, I have to tell you. But I came out and, uh, he said those things about the policies and I knew it, but, uh, we have to tell the world about it.
White House video, Official White House video source container44:04The world is fine, but the world really does know. Look at what's happened to Europe. They're being eaten alive. Senators Ted Cruz and James Lankford. James is a great senator from Oklahoma. We're going to be going, I think, uh, you know, I have a whole group of talented Texans here, but I have, uh, I have James and I think James and I are going solo to Oklahoma and we look forward to it.
White House video, Official White House video source container44:27Those people are great, just like you're great. We also have one of my favorite people in all of politics. Ronny Jackson is here. Ronny. Ronny was the White House doctor right at the beginning when I got there.
White House video, Official White House video source container44:45And he was also the doctor for Barack Hussein Obama. Ronny's an admiral. He's an admiral, he's the White House doctor, and he's a congressman that won by 48 points, maybe more, I think maybe more.
White House video, Official White House video source container44:59And because his community loves him, and they like me too, but they like Ronny. But they asked him a question, this was before I got to know him, he was a doctor. He looked me over, he checked me out.
White House video, Official White House video source container45:09I don't like when men check me out at all. But we didn't have to worry about Ronny, I can tell you. But they asked Ronny, they said, uh, "Ronny," uh, at a news conference, a big one, a lot of those same -- many people, "Who's the healthiest of all the presidents?
White House video, Official White House video source container45:27Who would you rate the most physically fit? President Trump, President Bush, or President Barack Hussein Obama?" He said, "That's an easy question. President Trump is by far the healthiest president I've ever seen." Right?
White House video, Official White House video source container45:47I said, "I don't know who that guy is, but I like him. I like him." I said, "I don't know." Now he did make the statement, "And if he didn't like junk food so much, he'd live to be 200 years old."
White House video, Official White House video source container45:59You could have left that out, Ronny. But I said, "I like that guy." And he's turned out to be really amazing. Another one is Brandon Gill. He's a star. He's a young, handsome star.
46:08Brandon? His, his father-in-law, a great friend of mine called up and he said, "Brandon's a young guy." And he said, "He's running for Congress, and could he get your endorsement?" I said, "Oh, I don't want to -- I'm endorsing so many people.
White House video, Official White House video source container46:28I don't want to do it." And, uh, father-in-law's a very special guy, actually, was persecuted unfairly. Dinesh, you know Dinesh? Dinesh D'Souza is a very good guy, conservative guy, loves his country, was persecuted.
White House video, Official White House video source container46:45And he said, "No, his name is Brandon Gill. He married my daughter. He's a great person." I said, "All right, send me his picture. Let me see." I looked, I said, "This guy's a handsome guy, you know?
46:53That's all I know." Very handsome guy. What the hell do I know? And I said, "Well, let me talk to him." I talked to him and I endorsed him and he, he became a rocket ship, right?
White House video, Official White House video source container47:03And he's been a star ever since, right? A star. Thank you. Great job you're doing. He's doing a great job. And Pat Fallon, we all know Pat. Pat's unbelievable. Where are you, Pat? Where are you, Pat?
47:17Thank you, Pat. What a job he's done. We love him. Keith Self, seriously conservative. Where's Keith? Hi, Keith. Will you please be easier on me? I'll have to call him sometimes at 3:00 in the morning to get his vote, but he's always there, right?
White House video, Official White House video source container47:33He's always there. He was, he's for you. Jake Ellzey is another one. He's fantastic. Jake, thank you very much. Thank you. One of the bravest men, Roger Williams, he was unfortunately practicing for a baseball game when that lunatic shooter came and he ended up hitting Steve Scalise pretty hard, but he got Roger too, and Roger, uh, sloughed it off like it was nothing.
White House video, Official White House video source container47:59He's a tough cookie. And he's a great guy. He's been my friend right from the beginning, Roger, right? And Craig Goldman, he's a new congressman and he's a star. Thank you. He's a new, great job.
White House video, Official White House video source container48:12Thank you. He's been a real star. And Beth Van Duyne is my friend for right from the beginning. So thank you. Thank you, Beth. Right, thank you, Beth. Right from the beginning. And so that group of, uh, warriors, and I think I probably maybe missed some, but that group of warriors and others, but they've been unbelievable what they've done in the House, in the Senate.
White House video, Official White House video source container48:37Incredible. State Senate majority leader is here, Tan Parker. I want to thank you, Tan. Great job. You did a, you did a great job. You've been doing a fantastic job. Thank you very much.
48:49I appreciate it. We have a basketball legend. You know, when you think you're tall and then you stand next to Dennis Rodman, you're not so tall anymore. Dennis Rodman, where's Dennis? Thank you. Thank you.
49:04Thank you. There he is. He is the greatest guy. I've, I've known him for so long. This guy got rebounds. And you know, he's very tall, but he wasn't tall in terms of what he did, he wasn't as tall as you're supposed to be, but he's the greatest rebounder.
White House video, Official White House video source container49:27That's according to Michael Jordan and some other people that I know. He's the greatest rebounder in the history of basketball. And that's a big statement. That's a big statement and he's my friend. You know, when I wanted to get to know Kim Jong Un when we're having a problem, Kim Jong Un and I get along.
White House video, Official White House video source container49:47But the one who knew him best was Dennis Rodman, because they asked Dennis to come over to North Korea to work with their basketball team. Uh, their basketball team wasn't doing too well, right, Dennis?
White House video, Official White House video source container50:00And Dennis worked with him. And I'm not sure that he was able to do much with that particular team. The only thing that would've helped if Dennis played on the team, right? But I want to thank Dennis Rodman.
White House video, Official White House video source container50:12He's a special guy, so he's been my friend for a long time. Thank you. I want to thank the mayor of Denton, Texas -- Chris Watts. Chris, thank you. Thank you. Where is Chris?
White House video, Official White House video source container50:28Oh, thank you, Chris. Heard you're doing great. The president of the Club for Growth, he's a fantastic guy. We're undefeated. Where's David? David McIntosh, he's great. Thank you, David. We're undefeated, right? Every time we endorse a candidate, that candidate wins.
White House video, Official White House video source container50:45So I assume you're for Ken Paxton, right? Okay, good. That's good. He's, if he's for Ken and -- we're all for Ken. How the hell can you be for the other guy anyway? But even, even if they had a good opponent, I'd be for Ken.
50:57'Cause he, he proved himself. The president of University of North Texas, Dr. Harrison Keller, thank you very much. I heard great things. Good-looking guy. He, central casting. I like central casting people. Great. The chancellor of Texas Woman's University, Dr. Carine Feyten.
White House video, Official White House video source container51:19Carine, thank you very much. Wow. Great job you're doing. I heard that. The County Judge Andy Eads. Thank you, Andy. Great. Thank you, Andy. And County Sheriff Tracy Murphree. Thank you. Great job. Right from the beginning.
White House video, Official White House video source container51:44But less than two years ago, we inherited the dark age of America from the previous administration. It was a dark age. It was a horrible age, frankly. But we've turned it into the golden age of America.
White House video, Official White House video source container51:55Our country is now going through the golden age. We've never had numbers like this. We've never had anything like it. We're respected all over the world. We don't play games anymore. President Xi doesn't come to countries that he doesn't respect.
White House video, Official White House video source container52:09President Xi of China doesn't come in. He just left and we had a lot of good talk, but he only comes to places he respects and there are not many of them.Last month it was announced that real median household incomes are at the highest level ever.
White House video, Official White House video source container52:26And as I said before, the poverty rate is at the record low, the lowest rate ever. African American poverty, Hispanic American poverty, Native American poverty are all at the lowest rates in the history of our country by far.
White House video, Official White House video source container52:41Those are great numbers for U.S.. You need that. You want that. And here in Texas, we have unleashed our great American energy workers and Texas oil production has reached the highest level in history by far -- not even close.
White House video, Official White House video source container53:00And with our new relationship with, and by the way, this other guy would shut oil, he'll shut down oil. You know, one thing about politicians that I've learned, whatever they say first is where they go.
White House video, Official White House video source container53:11They change with the election, like the guy from Michigan, he's a, you know, communist guy. But now all of a sudden he's sort of like trying to be like he's moderate, he's not moderate.
White House video, Official White House video source container53:20He's the worst. They are so bad, these guys. But the one you have might be the worst of all. You have a bad one, really a bad, crazy lunatic. I beat him once before running in Georgia.
White House video, Official White House video source container53:31Now the guy in Michigan's really bad, he's a con man. But all these guys, and the one you have in Texas, whatever they say first, that's what they're going back to. He'll become a vegan again.
White House video, Official White House video source container53:43He's got no choice, he can't stand meat. But he'll become a vegan again. He'll go into transgender mutilization again. He'll have open borders again where you have everybody. You know, coming up here, they had a person -- they were interviewing a person on one of the networks.
White House video, Official White House video source container53:59And they said, well, what's the -- they live on the border. What's the difference between now and during the Biden administration? They say it's the most -- it's like we're living in a different country.
White House video, Official White House video source container54:09He said, under the Biden administration, every day, three, four, five times, people were pouring across our lawn. They were pouring across our farm. They were dangerous people. We were petrified. The doors were always locked.
White House video, Official White House video source container54:21We had guns all over the place. We just didn't know what to do. We were threatened. We were hit. We haven't seen anybody in a year and a half. She said, it's like, she said, it's like living in a different country.
White House video, Official White House video source container54:41But just as I promised, I'm ensuring that Iran will be very quickly ended.I will tell you the energy prices are going to be rapidly, rapidly coming down. I mean, I hope we have enough, uh, space to get it.
White House video, Official White House video source container54:54It's already happening, the energy -- all other prices have come, they're coming down rapidly. But we inherit it. Remember they came up with the word affordability. So from day one, they said, well, what about your prices?
White House video, Official White House video source container55:06And then they came up, you know, they always come up with these words, affordability. So the fake news starts using it because they're partners with the Democrats. And the fake news would say -- oh, they say it all the time to me -- "What about affordability?"
White House video, Official White House video source container55:21And I'm saying, "What about affordability? The prices are high." I said, they're lower than they were. And think of it, gasoline's lower than it was with Biden, and we knocked the hell out of a country that was going to try and kill U.S., probably.
White House video, Official White House video source container55:34The word probably is very important. I would say more than probably. They would've taken a shot. Remember now also, but it's a phony, it's, it's, you know, when I say phony, they say, oh, he thinks inflation, no, I think inflation's very real.
White House video, Official White House video source container55:46But they're the ones that caused the inflation. I'm the one that's bringing it down and we have to be able to get that word out somehow because they're using the word affordability. So whenever we go after them, like we announce all these great numbers, the best numbers in the history of any president.
White House video, Official White House video source container56:05There's never been any president that's gotten $21 trillion invested in our country, not even close, not even, it's five times, six times higher than ever before.Nobody's ever heard of this. And what they say, yes, but affordability, and everyone thinks that the prices are high because of me, but they're not.
White House video, Official White House video source container56:25We're the ones bringing down the prices. I just hope you can know, because the one good thing about them, they have, they have a great line of bullshit. They have bad, they have bad policy, the worst, stupidest policy, the men and women's sports, the open borders, that transgender for everybody, all these horrible things and 25 things that are just as bad.
White House video, Official White House video source container56:48But you have to remember that, uh, we're the ones doing the job. We're the ones that's fixing our country. Our country was seriously broken. They laughed at our country. They thought we were stupid people.
White House video, Official White House video source container56:58They thought we were weak. Someday, I'm going to trip. I'll be walking down. Don't forget when Biden left the stage, he spoke very shortly, like, two minutes, one minute, as quickly as possible. Could never find the stairs.
57:11I don't have that problem. You know, these things, do you know how many stairs they have? Look, I got, I can go ramp, I can go stair, I can go another stair, another stair in the back, I have a stair.
57:25He could never find a stair. No, we were laughed at all over the world, all over the world. They don't laugh at U.S. anymore, I'll tell you that. So, we passed the largest tax cuts in history and that includes no tax on tips, no tax on overtime.
White House video, Official White House video source container57:43Oh, that's a good one for you. Woo. That's a good one, Preston. With all those trucks, you got to be spending a lot of overtime. No tax on overtime. You got to like, you got to like the Republicans.
White House video, Official White House video source container57:58No tax on Social Security for our great seniors. And we did something. We made interest payments on auto loans, fully tax-deductible. First time it's ever happened. It's having a huge impact. So when I took office, we inherited the worst border in American history, and now we have the strongest border in our country's history. And for the last 17 months, as I said, zero illegal immigrants have crossed into our country.
58:26Who would've thought? So every single Democrat in Congress voted against our massive tax cuts. Every single one of them. They voted against no tax on tips. They voted against no tax on Social Security for our seniors, and they voted against no tax on overtime.
White House video, Official White House video source container58:50They don't want them. And if you put these guys in, all of that stuff is going to come back, and your taxes are going to double, and you're going to end up in a depression, not a recession, a depression.
White House video, Official White House video source container59:01They voted against unleashing Texas oil and gas. They voted against strong tariffs to protect car and truck manufacturing in our country. They voted in favor of men playing in women's sports, in favor of transgender mutilization of your children.
White House video, Official White House video source container59:18They voted against border security for Texas. And if they get the chance, they will turn Texas back into a dumping ground for the rest of the world, which is what it was just two years ago.

White House video, Official White House video source container00:00This is a fantastic day for Alaska. This is Governor Mike Den Levy. I'm here with Congressman Veggage and Senator Sullivan. We just spent about an hour and a half with the president of the United States and his cabinet going over the great things that have just happened for this Alaska [music] natural gas pipeline.
00:12Our South Korean allies um are partners now. They are providing a lot of funding for this upwards of $50 billion plus in partnering with the United States of America and the state of Alaska.
00:22We are thrilled about what has occurred here and we are looking [music] forward to decades and decades and decades of natural gas for Alaskans. You know, teamwork is so important and we've got [music] a great team.
00:33Uh we've got folks that have been working on this for more than a decade, right? Senator Sullivan worked on this when he was DNR commissioner [music] and as a G, the governor has been working on this every year that he's been governor, even before he was governor.

03:12Uh it we had it a long time ago, but they used it for other purposes to get something else approved and they gave it up. But people want to have light in the evening.

03:38It takes people it it discombobulates everybody so we can finally have a vote. We have the vote in the House. Mike Johnson did a great job. Now we'd like to have the vote in the Senate.
03:52Tom Cotton's holding it up. You know who wants it? The farmers want it. You know who wants it? Sports want it. Professional sports and amateurs that would like to play tennis at night. Would like to play golf a little bit without having to run home after 14 holes.
04:09It's ridiculous. It's very expensive to do. It's not a good thing. People don't want to have to change their clocks twice a year. It's a lot of work for a lot of people. They're running around for two days changing all the clocks in their house.
04:25So, it's an easy win. And I'm not even talking about for the Republican Senate, for the Senate, because it's a very bipartisan issue. And Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, a state that I won by 35 or 40 points, I don't by a lot.
04:43Uh, he's got to do it because it's it's really a it would be a very nice win for the United States Senate and for the people. Have a
